FAQs

What is an HOA?

A Homeowner's Association (HOA) functions as the governing body for a defined residential community. Composed of homeowners, the HOA is responsible for the administration and maintenance of communal areas, as well as ensuring compliance with established community guidelines. HOAs are generally structured as non-profit organizations and operate within the legal framework governing these entities. In the state of Idaho, the operation of HOAs is subject to both state laws specific to HOAs and the regulations pertaining to non-profit corporations.
